Richard Avis is a Los Angeles based producer who has worked on shows such as MasterChef (Fox), Temptation Island (USA), Making It (NBC) and many other TV/Film projects.

He has always had an affinity and love for wildlife and animals. He grew up raising F4 Bengal cats as a child, raised and trained Belgin Malinois dogs for protection and security work, and even raised a Eurasian lynx from kittenhood recently.

Richard has worked with Winterstone Pictures for many years, including their recent filming with wild horses and is a producer on Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West.

Richard has an unwavering passion for preserving and protecting animals-- especially those under threat-- and plans to continue his rescue and preservation efforts into the future.
