Sandy Sharkey is an award winning photographer, writer and guest speaker who travels the world to advocate for the protection of wild horses. In 2018 she completed a 14,000 mile ‘wild horse road trip’ throughout the American southwest and western Canada, to capture images and share the stories behind these magnificent free spirits.
Sandy created the ‘Find Wild Horses, Find Yourself’ campaign to encourage people to experience wild horses firsthand, to share their unbridled spirit, and to add their voices to ensure that wild horses run free for generations to come.
