Richard T. Avis, General Counsel, has practiced law in WA, Florida, IL and NY for over 20 years with emphasis in business, construction and real estate matters. His diverse client mix, both public and private, has included inventors, developers, environmental firms and motion picture companies.
His family roots in horsemanship go way back, from the family ranch in Wyoming to his father’s days of running rescues with his good friend Roy Rogers, where he also met up with a special grey gelding who became a loyal companion for many years.
He is the proud father of filmmaker, WBF Founder and President Ashley Avis.
