Richard Avis is a Los Angeles based producer who has worked on shows such as MasterChef (Fox), Temptation Island (USA), Making It (NBC) and many other TV/Film projects.
He has always had an affinity and love for wildlife and animals. He grew up raising F4 Bengal cats as a child, raised and trained Belgin Malinois dogs for protection and security work, and even raised a Eurasian lynx from kittenhood recently.
Richard has worked with Winterstone Pictures for many years, including their recent filming with wild horses and is a producer on Wild Beauty: Mustang Spirit of the West.
Richard has an unwavering passion for preserving and protecting animals– especially those under threat– and plans to continue his rescue and preservation efforts into the future.
