Known as an effective communicator in her work life, Amber brings years of professional experience in networking, relationship management, and sales to her role at Wild Beauty. Her career has spanned sales positions in Corporate Aviation, and now Dermatopathology, where she currently represents some of the greatest minds in the field, who diagnose an array of inflammatory diseases and invasive cancers.
Beyond her work in these spaces, what she is perhaps most proud of is applying her skillset to rescuing dogs, where she helped to place several Texas rescues in wonderful homes in her native state of Michigan. This experience with fighting the injustice surrounding the treatment of dogs has primed her for this journey with Wild Beauty, as they seek to upend the systemic mistreatment of her other great love, horses.
Amber’s love for horses started at a very young age with fond memories of spending time at the farm with her grandfather. She loved watching her grandfather’s gentle leadership with his horses and his clear dedication to their wellness. His bond with them is what continues to drive her work today with Wild Beauty, as well as in the caring of her very own Wild Beauty rescue, Willow.
Her journey with Wild Beauty began with a Facebook inquiry to Ashely, Wild Beauty’s visionary leader, about a gorgeous flea-bitten grey mare, whom she’d thankfully just rescued from a notorious kill pen. Within moments of conversation, Amber knew two things – first that she needed this mare in her life; Miss Willow, and second that she needed to be a part of Ashley’s singular mission of making a difference in these horses’ lives.
Amber holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and an MBA from Northwood University.
